University of Nebraska-Lincoln Rolls Out the Red Carpet for Kiewit Hall Grand Opening

Representatives from Ballinger attended the grand opening celebration of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s (UNL) Kiewit Hall, the new academic home for UNL’s College of Engineering, on March 8. The event was held in the building’s commons, a hub for the College’s 3,400 students. Ballinger partnered with Clark & Enersen to design the building, which debuted in January 2024 as one of the nation’s premier facilities for engineering education.

“It was an honor to design a paradigm-shifting and transformative facility that will help realize UNL College of Engineering’s vision for educating the Complete Engineer,” said Ballinger Senior Principal Craig S. Spangler, FAIA.
