State-of-the-Art Healing Environments: Heart and Cancer Care

Ballinger Senior Principal Louis A. Meilink, Jr., FAIA, FACHA, ACHE and Erin Nunes Cooper, AIA, ACHA, LEED AP were invited to speak at the spring 2021 Architecture-For-Health Lecture Series at Texas A&M University. The series, “Design & Construction of Health and Healthcare Facilities in the Context of Continuum of Care,” is hosted by the College of Architecture and the Health Science Center School of Public Health.

The presentation, to be broadcast on Zoom Friday, April 9 at 12 noon, includes case studies of heart and cancer centers, ranging from New York City to the Great Plains. Louis and Erin will also participate in a virtual critique of student work, furthering the exchange of ideas between academia and practice.
