Announcing the Ballinger Summer Fellowship Program

We are pleased to announce Ballinger’s Summer Fellowship, an 8-week program for architecture and interior design students in graduate school or their final year of college. In addition to in-person project experience, Fellows will develop a research project focusing on trends, metrics, or emerging strategies in one of the following targeted areas:

  • Sustainability
  • Healthcare & Wellness
  • Campus & Academics
  • Workplace
  • Visualization & Materials
  • Facades

Fellows will be immersed in our professional culture, gaining real-world experience while assisting with a Ballinger-led research project. Collaborating with a Research Lead, Fellows will advance a research initiative throughout the summer and present it at a studio-wide meeting in August.

Ambitious, hard-working, and innovative candidates are encouraged to apply. Applications, due March 1, should include:

  • Resume
  • Portfolio
  • Letter of Recommendation
  • Cover letter stating your passion for research
  • List of relevant research-focused coursework
  • Statement of what  you hope to achieve through the fellowship
