Katherine Ahrens has specialized in innovative space planning and strategic workplace design since joining Ballinger in 2010. She assists corporate, healthcare and academic clients in elevating their specific workplace strategy through research and creative problem-solving. Katherine has developed a collection of tools to define an organization’s culture, growth projections and work styles to best inform the design of their space. From analyzing pre-occupancy data to the development of change management solutions and post-occupancy evaluations, she has honed a methodology for creating value-added space strategies and standards for a wide range of workplace functions. Katherine is Interiors Studio Leader and presents frequently at industry conferences. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University.
