Since joining Ballinger in 1987, Jonathan Friedan has developed a significant resume of built facilities that exhibit sensitivity to programmatic function, innovative use of appropriate technology, and a practical sense of reliable building operations. His work, both new and retrofit, spans building types for both institutions and corporations, and continues to set new standards for sustainability. In addition to his leadership role within Ballinger, Jonathan presents regularly at national forums on high performance systems and retrofit strategies for academic science and research facilities. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University.
