Jack Fairchild leads Fire Protection and Life Safety at Ballinger, bringing thorough knowledge of building code and its interpretations as well as a deep commitment to the safety of all building occupants. He leads teams in performing hazard analysis and smoke modeling, designing complete fire protection systems, developing project-related specifications, and ensuring code compliance based on National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. His experience enables thoughtful analysis of complex conditions and innovative solutions that prioritize safety. In addition to his technical knowledge, his ability to distill complex issues to their essence makes him a resource to clients and colleagues. Jack is passionate about fire protection and seeks to expand awareness of the discipline through involvement in organizations including the AIA, NFPA, and American Society of Certified Engineering Technicians (ASCET). He is currently president of the local chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE). He earned an Associate of Science in Fire Protection Engineering Technology from Delaware Technical Community College.
