This spring, Grand View Health’s new six-story pavilion in Sellersville, Pennsylvania opened to patients. Ballinger provided architecture, engineering, planning, and interior design for the 190,000 SF expansion.

The Pavilion, which is connected to Grand View Health’s legacy hospital, prioritizes wellness for patients, families, and team members while integrating state-of-the-art technology and enhanced community connections. The design features a new main entrance and light-filled public space, aimed at improving the patient experience while maintaining Grand View Health’s mission of leading their community toward a healthier future.

Grand View Health, a Penn Medicine affiliate, is now the largest emergency department in Upper Bucks County, and includes a Level II Trauma Center and rooftop helipad. Ballinger Principal Sara Ridenour, AIA, LEED AP BD+C expressed gratitude in collaborating with Grand View Health on this transformative project. “Ballinger’s multi-disciplinary team is honored to contribute to the Grand View Health vision of excellence with the opening of the new Pavilion,” she said.

Additional healthcare services within the Pavilion will come online throughout the spring and summer months, including ten new operating rooms and 52 private patient rooms featuring 75” interactive monitors and space for family members.
