Ballinger to Present Net Zero Strategies at ASHRAE Winter Conference

Associate Principal Michael Radio, PE, LEED AP will present Ballinger’s work toward achieving net zero carbon performance at the 2026 ASHRAE Winter Conference in Las Vegas, NV. He coauthored two recent ASHRAE Journal papers, “Clean Energy for Social Impact: Decarbonizing UMB’s School of Social Work,” with Ballinger Senior Principal Rob W. Voss, AIA, LEED AP, and “Transitioning District Energy Systems: Integrating Sustainable Solutions for Efficient Heating” about Georgia Tech’s campus, with Imran Aziz, J.-H. Lewe, PhD., Qixun Li, Adrian L. Mungroo, David Solano, PhD., and Hyun Woo Kim.

Mike will present his paper about the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) School of Social Work on Tuesday, February 3 at 9:45 AM, as part of Paper Session 20: Strategies for Climate-Ready, Low-Carbon Buildings with Resilient Technologies.
