Ballinger is proud to announce recent staff promotions. These individuals have distinguished themselves in their whole-hearted embrace and leadership of our quest for excellence in what we do.

To Associate Principal:

Patricia Cosgrove

Trish joined Ballinger in 1986 after studying accounting at Pierce College and has spent her 30-year career with the firm. She began as an accounts payable administrator, and over the years became increasingly knowledgeable about the practice. She assumed greater firm-wide responsibilities for finance, human resources, project controls and office operations when she was named Assistant Director of Operations in 2007. Since then, she has continued to grow in operational leadership and has become an important contributor to managing the practice.

Bradford Crowley, PE, LEED AP

Brad joined Ballinger as a mechanical engineer in 2005. Since then, he has been a persistent and guiding force in developing a sustainable, yet practical, approach to mechanical systems design. He has contributed significantly across the range of engineering services from master planning, energy planning and conceptual design through detailed design, construction and occupancy. His most recent completed project was the award-winning Undergraduate Teaching Laboratories at Johns Hopkins University. He regularly presents at national forums and is an adjunct professor at Drexel University where he teaches HVAC to architectural students.

Josh Levy, AIA, LEED AP

Josh Levy joined Ballinger in 1998 with a BA from Brandeis University and a Masters of Architecture from Syracuse University. Josh has been the senior project architect and technical lead on some of the firm’s most complex projects, including the Johns Hopkins Chemistry Building, the Brown University Sidney Frank Hall for Life Sciences, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Colket Translational Research Building. As the firm’s Director of Technology, he has established building performance standards, advanced the firm’s knowledge of complex envelope systems, and served as a critical technical resource providing mentorship and advice.
